We took, in this case, a program manager very used to running autonomously and provided her input that for most people could be very unpalatable. But the unique feature here was that Hilary was able to do that with a style and presence that was very palatable to some very senior staff, some direct reports of mine in the organization, without being offensive, without causing any bristling, but rather folks embraced it and took the comments to heart and we had a real transformation in the presentation that resulted.”
